Climate and Temperature at Hampta Pass
November to April:
It is not advised to go on the Hampta Pass Trek at this time. The path is inaccessible due to extreme cold, thick snowfall, and obstructed trails. The temperature ranges from 11°C to 16°C during the day and from -4°C to 2°C at night. At higher elevations, it stays below 0°C all the time.
May to June:
This is the best time for Hampta pass trek as there is still some snow, especially near Balu Ka Ghera and Hampta Pass. However, the Chandratal Lake is not reachable until late June.
