Latest Information on Travelling to DHARAMSHALA?
  • Entry is open for domestic travellers from other state. However, thermal screening will be conducted by state health authorities upon arrival.
  • No e-pass required to for Inter-state travel to Himachal Pradesh.
  • Entry/Exit from state borders will be allowed only from 6am to 8pm.
  • Face masks are compulsory when going out in public. Fine of Rs 1000 to be imposed on those not wearing masks.
  • COVID-19 test is not required on entry to the state. However, thermal screening shall be done for all passengers entering the state.
  • Night curfews (8pm-6am) declared in Mandi, Kangra, Shimla and Kullu till Jan 5.
  • All supermarkets, parks, malls and attractions are open with strict COVID-19 prevention norms in place.
  • Social distancing to be followed mandatorily when out in public.
  • E-passes/ permissions not required for inter-state travel.
  • For passengers arriving from red zone districts outside of Himachal Pradesh, carrying a COVID-19 negative test report from ICMR authorized lab, not older than 48 hours from the date of departure,14 days of Home Quarantine is allowed.
  • 14 days of institutional quarantine is required for passengers arriving from any Red Zone district outside of Himachal Pradesh or passengers having ILI (Influenza Like Illness) symptoms irrespective of the zone from where they are arriving.
  • All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App.

Domestic flights are operational to the airport at Dharamshala from Delhi and Chandigarh


Himachal has two important railway stations in Solan and Una. Passengers can alight at these two stations from Pathankot, Punjab and Delhi.

We booked Pride Surya Mountain Resort from Thrillophilia at a very good price as compared to other websites. It was such an amazing experience with lush green surroundings. The accommodation was very good. I would highly recommend visiting Norbulingka Buddhist temple you will experience a different peace and energy at the temple. overall had a great stay.
Fantastic camping site with full facilities and amazing games. The caretaker of the place is very genuine and this is easily reachable place, we feel very good ere because of the vibe . must visit.
The transfers were very easy to book from Thrillophilia and they even disclose the car options which we will get. The driver cum guide let us enjoy our own music throughout the drive as well. Thank you Thrillophilia for an easy booking procedure.
We can not forget how much we enjoyed visiting the temple through beautiful trees and lush green trails. The guide with us let us see the places while explaining the plantation and all. It was so much fun to climb to the top and enjoy everything there.

“This hotel is an excellent choice for a holiday. Great location, nice rooms and possibly the best service in India. The entire team was absolutely fabulous, extremely patient, courteous and always willing to help. From the front desk, the housekeeping, in - room dining the staff at the restaurants - all exceeded expectations. The Hotel arranged a bonfire dinner and organised music!! At first I would appreciate Thrillophilia for taking our bookings on last moment at such pocket friendly price. Awesome location and wonderful hospitality at the resort. Would have loved to see kids play zone as we were traveling with our kids. Thank you Nibaana staff for the memorable and wonderful stay. We really enjoyed the beautiful landscapes of the city and bonfire with music at night our kids loved it. Overall a great experience everyone is happy in my family.

I went to Nibaana with my family. It was recommended by my sister. The location of the hotel is amazing, the views from the room are stunning. We have enjoyed the nature walk as my guide was very supportive and full of knowledge. His sense of humour have kept us laughing all the time. Really a great time at the resort. Thank you to their super friendly staff.

Located in the heart of Mcleodganj, walking distance from the Main Market. View from the Reception is breathtaking.. The food was also very delicious and satisfying. Do try Chinese at their inhouse restaurant. Staff is very quick to respond to all your needs. We had a great time at the resort.
