Overview

The Eastern Ghats of India are waiting to be explored for all their worth and all the attractions that they hide in their folds. One such jewel that must be explored is is the Tada Waterfall trek. Located near the Oneness Temple in the Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh, the Ubbalamadugu Falls or the Tada Falls are more on the spectacular side when we talk about their beauty.

Located in a forest called the Siddulaiah Kona, the falls are often linked to the Hindu god, Lord Shiva, and this relationship with the god attracts a large number of people here on Shivratri who come here to watch the multi cascade waterfall with an amazing pool at the bottom. 

Completely safe to take a dip and enjoy around, the place is also a great place for a day out or picnic. The trek starts from the campsite on a small beach near a village. You spend a night here before making your way to the waterfall. Once here, the trail becomes rocky and full of boulders, which one has to climb in order to reach the top of the fall. 

Timings- Arrive at the beach campsite at about 6 PM.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival | Dinner | Camp Games

    Arrive at the beach campsite at about 6 PM.After reaching the beach the staff will setup your campsite and pitch the tents.

    After having your dinner, you will enjoy playing some interesting games around the camp with Campfire and light music.

    Overnight at tents.

  • Day 2 - Tada Waterfall Trek

    The very next morning after the beautiful sunrise on the Bay of Bengal, you will go for a boat/ferry ride.

    After freshening up and having your breakfast, you will depart for the Tada Trek

    As soon as you reach the starting point, the trek passing through the dense forests will start. After a small on ground hike, you will enter into the beautiful forest with streams of crystal clear water flowing down the hill. After reaching the waterfalls, you will see that the terrain has become rocky and you will have to cross over boulders to reach the top of the waterfall.

    After covering the waterfall aligned in a cascading manner and having a lot of fun in the waterfall ponds, you will trace back your trek route and reach the starting point. There you will have your lunch which will be a local vegetarian cuisine.

    Post this, check-out and bring the experience to an end.

    I was tempted to take this package offered by Thrillophilia and it was totally worth the money I paid. The first day was made eventful by different activities planned by them. The most enjoyable was camp games around the bonfire with music. It felt like a scene from a movie. The food they served was average. The next day, the trek to the waterfall was awesome. I'd good people around me. The view was enthralling. It was a really nice experience.

    The third trek of this year was a fine one. It was not so adventurous or extreme, I had a nice time with my family. The beauty of the place is really appreciable. The waterfall looked so amazing.
