Entry is open from all domestic states, however, every tourist will have to provide a negative RT-PCR report which must not be older than 72 hours at the time of arrival.

All major districts of Maharashtra, including Pune are experiencing night curfew in which:- People cannot move about at night and gatherings of more than 5 people in public places will not be allowed.- Shopping malls, restaurants, auditoriums, theatres, and other public places such as beaches and gardens will remain closed (Restaurants can continue home delivery and takeaway services).- Social, political, cultural and religious gatherings will not be allowed.- Weddings will be restricted to 50 attendees and funerals and last-rites ceremonies to 20 attendees strictly.Violators will be fined up to Rs 1000.

No quarantine & hand stamping for asymptomatic domestic passengers.International travellers have to home quarantine or do self-health monitoring for 14 days, or as warranted.Travellers coming to Pune from the UK, Europe, and the Middle East will have to undergo mandatory institutional quarantine for 14 days at their own cost. They may take the RT-PCR test on the 5th to 7th day, and if confirmed negative, they can spend the remaining days in home quarantine.The following categories of travellers will be exempted from institutional quarantine if they produce the relevant documents:- Passengers above the age of 65- Women in advanced stages of pregnancy- Children below 5 years of age and accompanying parent- Passengers requiring medical attention for serious ailments such as cancer, cerebral palsy, physical disability- Extreme case of family distress i.e., father/mother/son/daughter in critical condition, severe accident in family, death of an immediate family member- Passengers who have been administered both the doses of the COVID-19 vaccine- Medical professionals travelling for surgery/attending critical patients

Flights

Flights are available from Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur, Kolkata and 5+ other destinations for Pune.Passengers must take the test 72 hours before landing in Maharashtra and produce the report on arrival. Travellers without the certificate will have to take the RT-PCR test at the concerned airport at their own cost.

Trains

COVID special train is available from Ajni, Howrah, Mumbai and Indore to Pune.Passengers arriving from trains which have originated or had a stop in either of the four states should carry a negative RT-PCR test report. The sample collection should have been done within 96 hours before scheduled arrival in Maharashtra. Symptomatic individuals identified in the screening process will have to take the Antigen test.

Saputara

Saputara is a tourist destination situated in the Dang district of Gujarat. It offers a spectacular view of the Western Ghats residing amid the undulating mountains at a distance of 250 km from Mumbai, and 4 km from the Mumbai border. Being the only hill station in Gujarat, it is located at a height of 1,000 meters and attracts tourists, especially during the summers. 

In recent days, it has become a pioneered tourist destination. The tribal community residing here, known as Adivasis, evacuated the area at the request of the government and settled in the nearby Nawanagar, thus making the place an exclusive tourist destination.

Saputara is a haven for art and nature lovers alike. Artist Village, a place only a few kilometers from Saputara, is a benevolent place of artwork by various national and international artists. It displays handicrafts and craftsmanship of various artisans in the area around. There are local traditional stores, and stalls selling Bamboo artifacts that work as thoughtful souvenirs. The Hatgadh Fort is an admirable site of historical significance built by Shivaji during his reign. You can find the statue of Lord Shiva resting on the top of this fort which exudes the aura of sanctity

For those who are wanderers of wilderness, Saputara has an oasis of exotic wildlife at the Vansda National Park inhabiting carnivores, herbivores, avian fauna and reptiles like python and crocodiles. Purna Sanctuary is another such site of exploration. One can seek the remnants of the city’s rich heritage trekking through the forts and hillocks surrounding the place. 

The maximum temperature of Saputara is an astounding 30 degrees Celsius, even during summers. This acts to the benefit of many, who seek escape from the otherwise imposing heat of the sun. During winter the temperature drops down over here to a very low level due to which people do not resort to visiting this place during winters.

Place: The scenery there is really breathtaking. All the hills and the lake view is amazing. The place makes you stay there for life long. If you really want a peaceful, beautiful and close to nature place then this place should be on your bucket list. Hospitality: The host Rahul Slave was really humble and a cheerful person to talk. They will try to give their best by providing all kind of basic needs and anything you could ask for at such a remote place. Food: The starters are really amazing. I enjoyed the food as a non-vegetarian. I was really impressed with the tea and poha breakfast. I recommend you to try the breakfast. Activities: They have multiple activities including DJ, Bone Fire, Cricket, Archery, Boating, Badminton, Karaoke etc.

We had a great time at the Bhimashankar Trek. The trekking was quite good and interesting. It was awesome. We had a really lovely time here. It was so worth every penny spent. The trek trails, the surroundings, the backdrop were all just WOW! It was completely worth every penny spent. I personally want to visit here again. The trek was well organized too; thus enhancing the whole trek experience. Thinking back there are no negative experiences at all. It was perfectly a great and a nice experience. The rates were also not that costly and it was definitely worth the time and money we spent on this vacation. I am so recommending this to everyone out there.

"For a long time I was planning to go for a trek but could not find the time. this independence day I just booked a trek to andharban trough this app. the place is wonderful I would say this is the best trek if you are a beginner. Going through dense forest through Giant waterfall and breathtaking scenery. This place Will defenately make you hungry for more of such beautiful exploration. We had a good trekking experience here in Lonavala. Pune and Lonavala are places that can be viewed in a couple of days. While we planned for a long vacation here, we chose to have a beautiful planned itinerary which involved this trek, and we are super glad that we took it. Regarding the trek, it was a great experience.
I booked the Ashtavinayak trip from Pune and we visited all the eight temples of Lord Ganesh and the temples were renovated very well and there is also a lake Shree Vighnahar Ganpati Temple where boating is available.

It was our first experience there on trekking. Thrillophilia package includes guide so we have a good guide there and he helped us well during this entire trek. The food they gave is quite nice and delicious. Bhimashankar was my personal favourite place in this trek. Our group was of 12 people but we all enjoyed it nicely. Good place and Highly recommended.

Very beautiful place with lots of scenery, the relaxing and calming sunrise was mesmerizing and we loved it. Our guide was a funny and amazing person, he was also taking care of the group and briefed us well about the way and do’s. we had a group photo at the top and the trek was very memorable, will look to do these types of treks again. Nice place with a well-mannered guide, I booked it from Thrillophilia for me and my sister, the trek went super fantastic and we had a good company there with us. The only problem was waking us early but as u reach the Bhimashankar, you will feel alive. Must try.
