About Maharashtra
The beautiful state of Maharashtra is located in the western peninsular region of India. It is the third largest state and the second most populous state in India. Maharashtra has been bestowed with a breathtaking natural beauty of mountain ranges, rivers as well as sea coasts. The western side has risen in the form of the majestic Sahyadri Range that runs parallel to the sea coast of the mesmerising Arabian Sea.
