Kalsubai at 5400ft is the highest peak of Maharashtra and this is the main reason for its popularity and difficulty. It is located in the Kalsubai mountain range which is an offshoot range from the main Sahyadri range. Surrounded by lush green forests and fields, the trekking route towards Maharashtra's Highest Peak is a surreal experience for all nature lovers and trek enthusiasts.

Challenging yet fun-filled, trek towards the highest summit will test your patience and offer an amazing panoramic view of several more mountain ranges like Alang, Madangad, Kulang, Ratangad (south-west) and to the south Pabhargad, Ghanchakkar & Harishchandragad. Also, attempting to climb the most wish-listed mountain in the Sahyadri offers a great sense of achievement for most of the trekking enthusiasts

Invoke in exciting trekking experience to Kalsubai. Reach Kasara Station at 12:15 am and start your tour from Kasara by shared transfer to base village. Relax for a while, freshen up and begin your night trek to Kalsubai after a small introduction session. Enjoy the uphill climb of Kalsubai Trek. Around 7:00 am we will reach Kalsubai Shikhar, explore the place, have breakfast, enjoy the beautiful sunrise, and click photos. We will start descending in a while, after reaching the base village, have your lunch around 1:00 pm we will depart for Kasara.

How to reach Kalsubai Night Trek Starting Point: 
The starting point of this trek is Kasara Station which is 105 km away from Mumbai and 222 km from Pune. Travellers can board on any train departing from their respective city toward Kasara as per the pickup timings.

    00:15 - Assemble at Kasara Railway Station near the ticket counter.

    00:20 - Travel from Kasara Railway Station to Bari Village by Local Jeep.

    02:30 - Reach Bari village.

    03:00 - Commencement of the Kalsubai mountain trek after briefing and a short introduction.

    07:00 - Reach Mount Kalsubai Shikhar, explore the summit and enjoy the sunrise from the to, have a Breakfast.

    09:00 - Start descending towards base village

    12:00 - Reach base village and Lunch.

    13:00 - Travel by Jeep from Bari Village to Kasara Railway Station.

    15:00 - Reach Kasara railway station and disperse.
