Chanderi Fort Trek Overview

Chanderi is a majestic massif, 800 meters high, stands out as one approaches Vangani station on the way from Badlapur to Karjat by train. It looks near to Vangani but the better approach road to Chanderi is from Badlapur. Joined to Chanderi by a column, are a group of four pinnacles called Mhasmal. To reach above it takes about 2 and a half hours and to the top, it takes the next 45 minutes. The Chanderi-Mhaismal duo is very prominent and can be seen from far away peaks in the Sahyadris.

Invoke in exciting trekking to Chanderi Fort. Reach Vangani Station at 7:30 am and start your tour from Vangani by shared transfer to base village. Relax for a while, freshen up, have your breakfast, and begin your trek to Chanderi Fort after a small introduction session. Enjoy the uphill climb of Chanderi Trek. Around 1:00 pm we will reach Chanderi Fort, explore the place, its caves and click photos. We will start descending in a while, after reaching base village around 5:30 pm we will depart for Vangani.
