The Weligalpoththa Buddhist Monastery in Sri Lanka is surrounded by mesmerizing views of nature and immense peace. With the Trekking Trip To Weligalpoththa Buddhist Monastery, you get a chance to enjoy a 25 km Tuk-Tuk journey that begins at the dawn of the day. Later, enjoy a 2 hours trekking experience that lets you traverse through jungle paths and remote villages and witness the lifestyle of the village folks and their simplicity.

View the pleasant natural beauty of porcupines or mongooses which you encounter on your way to the monastery. Besides, you get to learn at the Monastery, the principles of  Buddhism and understand the Buddhist monastic life.

The package is inclusive of meals served as breakfast, lunch, and refreshments. Also, you are provided with comfortable local transportation through public buses and Tuk Tuk and rikshaws. In addition, the package includes the service of an expert trekking guide.
