Tali Temple Pond, situated in the sacred temple complex dedicated to Lord Shiva. Considered to be one of the oldest and most revered temples in the Kozhikode region, it has an expansive history and folklore for you to explore. It is believed that the temple was built by Saint Parasurama, the mythical creator of Kerala, making it one of the best places to visit in Kerala.
The Tali Temple pond is a calm and holy feature of this old site, which is said to have been built under the sponsorship of the Zamorin kings in the 14th century. The pond epitomises classic Kerala temple design. It is surrounded by tall walls and offers guests and devotees a peaceful environment. Its existence emphasises the temple's function as the hub for communal and spiritual events in Kozhikode.
