Gear up for the guided visit to the majestic Mehrangarh Fort. Considered as one of the most formidable and magnificent forts of Rajasthan, Mehrangarh Fort was built by Rao Jodha in the year 1459. The fort is spread over an area of 5 km and is built on 125 m high hill in the outskirts of Jodhpur city. There are seven gates, which can be used to enter the Mehrangarh fort. These 7 gates are made by different rulers and are built in honour of the victory over Bikaner and Jaipur armies. One can see the panoramic view of the Jodhpur city from this fort, which seems like a blue carpet laid at the foot of a hill. Any traveller travelling to Jodhpur, Mehrangarh Fort is a must-visit place.  

Further, the stay is located at a serene location and offers an array of activities like exploring the main attractions of the city or experiencing the traditional and folk dance or can take a shopping tour. The blue city of Jodhpur offers graceful palaces like Umaid Bhawan, forts like Maherangarh and temples and gardens like Mandore Garden, cenotaph like Jaswant Thada strewn throughout the city bring alive the historic grandeur of the city. Leading a romantic aura to Jodhpur are it's folk dances and music like Ghoomar.

How to Reach: The stay is centrally located in Jodhpur and Jodhpur Airport is 6.5 Km from the stay and is just a km from the Jodhpur Junction Railway Station and can be reached easily by either a private car or local autorickshaws.
