Kudremukh, a beautiful small village, based 96 km from the district of Chikmagalur and about 335 km from Bangalore of Karnataka. Kudremukh, composed of immense natural beauty and nestled in the Western Ghats, is capable to let the nature lovers fulfill their goals.

About the package:
This New Year and Christmas, experience a two-day Kudremukh trekking in Chikmagalur on your next weekend. Enjoy an exciting trekking experience that leads to Kudremukh, thus gifting you the views of lush green landscapes. The enthralling journey begins as you embark on an overnight journey from Bangalore.

Get closer to the undying nature spread across Kudremukh. With this package, you get to enjoy the mesmerizing view of the tall peaks and grasp the splendid sight of the entire region, which is sure to hold you spellbound. You shall be provided with delicious food, accommodation in homestays and convenient to and fro transportation from Bangalore.

Pickup Location: The package comes with a comfortable pick up facility from the following Pickup points.
Rajaji Nagar, 08:30 PM
Yashwanthpur Metro station 8:45 PM

Stay:
The package provides warm accommodation in a dormitory or tents depending on availability. There are separate rooms for boys and girls.

Meals:
You get to grab delicious meals in the form of 2 Breakfasts, 1 Dinner, 1 Lunch. Besides, you shall be able to munch evening snacks with tea or coffee.

Note: Kudremukh has a restriction for only the first 50 people allowed in a day to go for the trek. However, if we are unable to get the permissions we will be taking you to an equivalent and exciting trek.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Pickup from Bangalore

    On Friday afternoon Get picked up from Bangalore.

    First Pickup point Rajaji Nagar, Navarang theatre at 8:30 PM.

    Second Pickup point Yashawanthpur metro station at 8:45 PM to begin your overnight journey to Kudermukh.

    No dinner break will be on the way, please do have dinner before boarding the vehicle.

  • Day 2 - Day of the Trek

    We will be reaching at early morning to the Kudremukh Town to take permission at the forest office. Reach campsite fresh up and get prepared for the trek

    The first day of your trek; have breakfast by around 08:30 AM and take the packed lunch.

    After having breakfast, reach trek start point and start your trek to bhamikoonda/kalchuki Peak which is around 14 KM both the ways through shola grassland.

    We will have lunch and once you reach the top, enjoy the relishing view of the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled.

    Complete the trek before 4.00 pm evening.

    Return to your base camp visit somavathi waterfall which is 100 meters walk from the campsite and get ready to welcome the New Year with DJ Music/Bonfire/Fireworks and have Buffet dinner (Veg/Non-Veg) later. Retire under the starlit sky for the night.

  • Day 3 - Return to Bangalore

    Sunday wake up early morning

    After spending some time at the waterfall head back and freshen up, pack everything and have breakfast, and then start descending via jeep to our vehicle.

    Start your journey to Bangalore and visit Belur temple which is on the way.

    Have a self-sponsored lunch and return to Bangalore around 10:00 PM.

  • As per the current forest regulations, Only the first 50 people are allowed to trek in one day, If the forest Department does'not give permission on day 1, the operator will give other options for the same trek. For any such uncontrollable situation, no refund will be applicable.

  • The above pickup and timings as been selected based on the Bangalore traffic Jam and the timings will help the participants to reach on time to the campsite and maintain the time schedule of the trek.

    It's the first experience to Kodachadri trek and that too on the new year 2019 and it was soo amazing, it's all because of PTU !! The homestay was clean and good, also they had a campfire.
