Omkareshwar is Located on the island of Mandhata, next to the banks of Narmada River, Omkareshwar is a famous pilgrimage centre that that includes one of the 12 idolized Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. The name Omkareshwar means 'Lord of Omkaara', which is one of the Dwadasa Jyotirlinga shrines or the 12 shrines dedicated to lord Shiva in the form of a Jyotirlingam. It's a sacred island which is shaped like the Hindu symbols 'OM', drawing millions of travellers from all across the globe. It has two ancient shrines including Omkareshwar and Amarkareshwar. This holy place is located on the meeting point of Narmada and Kaveri River, making a must-visit pilgrimage destination for Lord Shiva devotees and leisure travellers alike. Set in the Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh, Omkareshwar is forged by the sacred Narmada River. Built in the Nagara style, the Omkareshwar temple is featured by an eminent Shikhara.

Mandu is an ancient fort city in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It's surrounded by stone walls dotted with darwazas (gateways). It's also known for its Afghan architectural heritage. Landmark buildings include Hoshang Shah’s Tomb, a domed marble mausoleum, and the vast Jami Masjid mosque, with courtyards framed by colonnades. The imposing, centuries-old Jahaz Mahal palace stands between 2 lakes.

Cycle through the forests and Omkareshwar hills,As you ride on the uphill and downhill. terrains. Start from Indore, move to Omkareshwer via Choral, and then onto Omkareshwer where you will be experiencing peace by visiting Shri Mamleshwar Jyotirling ,Siddhanath Mandir , Shri Mamleshwar Jyotirling

Mandu- 
From here, the cycles will be heading downhill as you leave for mandu, Mandu is a beautiful place surrounded with beautiful hills of Madhya Pradesh. In Mandu you will be visiting Roopmati Mahel,jahaj mahel ,sunset point.At the end of this approximately 300 kms of cycling experience, you will be brought back to Indore , along with your cycles to bring the experience to an end.

If you are thinking of bringing your own bike on this tour please advise us at time of booking and take note of the below information. If you do choose to bring your own bike please note that we will not being carrying a spare bike for you.

Heritage Circuit Cycling Tour From Indore Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Indore - Omkareshwar (approx 88 kms)

    After you arrive at the starting point of the ride in Indore, you will have to go through a few formalities before the starting of the tour.

    After flag-off, start cycling toward Omkareshwar, the ride is approx. 88 kms long.

    You will have lunch in between.

    All this while you will be cycling through the beautiful hills of Indore i.e. Vindhyachal ranges, and beside the River choral, crossing multiple ghats.

    As you arrive at the accommodation place in Omkareshwar , you will receive a warm welcome.

    Stay overnight at Omkareshwar.

  • Day 2 - Omkareshwar - Mandu (approx 100 kms)

    Wake up early in the morning for a beautiful sunrise.

    After Breakfast,get Ready for Peaceful Omkareshwar sightseeing.

    After Sightseeing,start paddling towards the second destination i.e. Mandu.

    On the way to mandu you will be seeing beautiful hills, memorising views and butter smooth highways.

    Lunch will be served in a local village dhaba.

    After Lunch, you will be reaching mandu, and admire the beauty of history.

    Watch the breathtaking sunset and reach our second accommodation place in mandu.

    Take rest and have your dinner.

    After dinner, you can have your personal time to enjoy the place and sleep.

  • Day 3 - Mandu - Indore (approx 90-100 kms)

    After waking up to a mesmerizing sunrise, and breakfast.

    After breakfast, you will be taken to Historical Mandu sightseeing.

    After sightseeing, your experience will come to an end.

    Ride back to Indore Which Is approximately 90-100 km from mandu
