Chardham Yatra By Helicopter Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Dehradun to Yamunotri

    The first day of your Chardham yatra by helicopter will begin with your arrival at the mighty land of Dehradun.

    You will have to arrive at Sahastradhara Helipad in the vehicles waiting for you, where you will hop into a helicopter and fly your way towards Yamunotri.

    Upon arrival at Kharsali Helipad (Yamunotri), the pilot and the ground staff will provide you with a proper briefing of the whole tour after which you will be driven towards your stay.

    Some time will be provided to relax and rest for a while and once you have freshened up, you will head towards the Yamunotri Temple.

    A 6 KM long trek is required to reach the temple, however, this distance can also be covered in Palki.

    Some time will be spent around the temple offering prayers, followed by reaching back your stay.

    In the evening, a trip to the nearby shani temple will be followed, after which you are free to spend the remaining time the way you please.

    The first day of Chardham yatra by helicopter will end with reaching your stay and resting overnight.

  • Day 2 - Yamunotri to Gangotri

    The second day of the Chardham tour package by helicopter will begin at around 7:45 in the morning when you will hop onto a helicopter and fly towards Gangotri.

    Upon arrival at Harsil Helipad (Gangotri), you will be driven towards your stay for settling in and freshening up.

    The selected stay lies just 2 KM away from the helipad.

    The famous Gangotri Temple, or the second Dham is located around 22 KM away from your stay and this distance will be covered by driving for around 50 minutes.

    You will get to take part in the evening aarti at the Gangotri Temple, after which you are driven back to the stay to spend the night.

    If the time permits, you can choose to spend it at leisure and take walks around your stay.

    The second day of this package of Chardham by helicopter will end with sleeping at your hotel in Harsil.

  • Day 3 - Gangotri to Kedarnath

    The third day of the Chardham by helicopter will take you towards the heavenly abode of Kedarnath Temple.

    Having the gigantic snow capped mountains as its backdrop, this temple is nothing less than a haven for nature lovers.

    You will fly from Gangotri towards the Phata Helipad which lies approximately 500 metres away from the kedarnath Temple.

    Once you have arrived, a fifteen minute long walk will be covered to finally reach the temple.

    Depending upon the time of arrival, you will indulge in the morning/evening aarti.

    Since Kedarnath does not have any running night halt facilities, you will be leaving as soon as the darshanas are over.

    You will be flying back to Guptkashi and the remaining time will be given for leisure activities.

    For added fun, you can plan a visit to the ancient Triyuginarayan or Kalimath Mandir all by yourself.

    This day will end with reaching your stay and resting overnight.

  • Day 4 - Kedarnath to Badrinath

    The fourth day of the Chardham yatra tour package by helicopter will commence with leaving around 10 in the morning and heading towards Sirsi Helipad.

    An hour long flight in the helicopter will take you to Badrinath Helipad.

    Upon arrival, you will be checking into the hotel located in some proximate distance.

    Once you have freshened up and rested for a while, a short trip to Mana Village will be followed.

    You will be driven towards the Badrinath Temple to take part in a special Maha Abhishek Pooja.

    Special arrangements have been made to make sure that you do not miss this once in a lifetime opportunity. Thus, you will be sitting in the middle hall, where all the proceedings happen.

    From taking part in aarti to getting the glimpse of the shringaars of the deity, you will get to explore various things here.

    To ensure that you do not miss this experience, the timings have been decided to be 4:00 AM, early in the morning.

    This day of the Chardham helicopter tour will end with reaching back to your stay and resting for the night.

  • Day 5 - Badrinath to Dehradun: Departure

    The fifth day of the Chardham helicopter package will begin with a flight from the Badrinath Helipad to Shilhaandara Helipad.

    The flight will be taken around 11:30 in the morning and will take around 1 hour to reach the destination.

    The fifth day of the Chardham helicopter package will end with your arrival at Shilhaandara Helipad in Dehradun, from where you can commence your journey back home.

    Travel back to your hometown while carrying loads of memories of this trip in the form of pictures and souvenirs.
