The fitter you are the more you'll take away from the experience. Take as much time as you can for cardio exercise and strength training, including core strength. This will make it far easier for you to trek and explore the terrain with your guide. Moreover, exercises aid in acclimatization for the trip. Experience of walking for long distances with heavy weights (at least 15 kg) will be a useful preparation.

As the temperature is cold throughout the trek with the possibilities of rain, we recommend that you carry woolen clothes, which can be full sleeves woolen sweater, thermal inner wear, windproof jacket, etc. along with a raincoat.

It is advisable to carry a 60L backpack, weight to be carried will depend on your requirements and capacity. Yes, porters will be there to carry your luggage at an extra cost.

Please do not carry the normal sports shoes. As you need the good traction during the trek, shoes from Woodland or Forclaz 500 is a recommended choice.
