Interestingly Kowloon Park was a military base in the 1830s, which has now been transformed into a beautiful and tranquil natural escapade. One can still see the canons and watchtowers albeit converted into children’s play areas. There are a Sculpture Walk and Garden where one can see displays made by local and international artists.
