Zakopane is a Polish town in the country's far south, bordering Slovakia. It's located in the Podhale region, near the Tatra Mountains. It is quite popular with tourists, with approximately 33 thousand Zakopane locals and close to 3 million tourists arriving each year! Snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, alpine forests, mountain lakes, animals, quaint towns, and meadow-filled valleys are all part of this outdoor heaven.

Zakopane has its own architectural style. The structures are said to embody the Podhale spirit. With a wide range of hotel options, restaurants, pubs, museums, and discos, the tourist infrastructure is well-developed. Zakopane is impossible to be bored in, however it might be too much for peace seekers.

The "Wieliczka" Salt Mine is a unique location, hidden from the rest of the world and brimming with secrets and stories. Pieniny National Park is the smallest of Poland's National Parks, yet it has hundreds of unique and preserved plant species, as well as several uncommon animal species. The zywiec Beskids, Poland's second highest mountain range, is home to Babia Gora National Park. The park's primary feature is Babia Gora's peak, which is the country's second tallest. The Gorce National Park is among Poland's 23 national parks. It includes the Turbacz and Gorca massifs and forms the centre component of the Gorce. The Gorce National Park safeguards Force's unique natural assets in the central and north-eastern regions. Trees live to be a ripe old age here.

Gorce is distinguished for its clearings, which are connected with communities and pastoral farming. The vegetation type flora includes around 800 different species, with the Mountain Zarzycka and Omega, as well as several snowdrops, wildflowers, and ferns, being among the most valuable.

Many types of wildlife, including wolves, lynx, and a variety of hoofed mammals like deer and roe deer, are attracted to the Gorce vegetation because of its unique characteristics. There are also numerous rare bird species.

Morskie Oko Lake is a true natural beauty, pleasing tourists' eyes with an array of shades and sparkles on the wind-blurred surface of the lake. Morskie Oko, at 1,395 metres above sea level and hovering over the famous winter resort of Zakopane, has been dubbed Poland's best hiking place for a reason. 

The steep path that leads to the shore of Morskie Oko provides an exceptional view of the Wodogrzmoty Mickiewicza waterfalls, which can be heard in the distance, as well as passing by the Tatras' oldest wooden refuge, which has been replaced by a modern facility that serves hearty Zakopane cuisine at its restaurant.

Szczeliniec Wielki, the highest mountain in the Table Mountains National Park, is the highest summit in the park. The landscape reserve and observation terraces with panoramic views of the Sudetes are part of the Crown of Polish Mountains, and it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Sudetes.

The highest point is a rock known as "Great Grandfather's Armchair." Hikes to the ruins of Homole Castle were popular among visitors to Duszniki, and excursions to the "wild and perilous" Bdne Skay were popular from Kudowa.
