Pulau Payar Marine Park

Dataran Lang (Eagle Square)

Dataran Lang, known as eagle square is yet another commonly visited destination amongst many other famous Langkawi places to visit. It has gained popularity for holding the huge sculpture of an eagle, which is considered to be one of the best manmade creations in Langkawi. Gunung Raya

Gunung Raya is the highest mountain peak in the region, which marks it on the list of popular places to visit in Langkawi. It stands at a height of 881 meters and is home to Gunung Raya Golf course at the base. The mountain spreads over an area of 5000 hectares and houses an extensive variety of flora and fauna.

To reach the top, tourists can either trek or choose to drive. Taman Lagenda Langkawi

Taman Lagenda is an “open-air” museum spread across 50 hectares of a compound and has 17 sculptures, and this is one of the highly recommended Langkawi tourist attractions. These statues depict some of Langkawi’s legends comprising of mythical birds, evil ogres, pretty princess, and many others. Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls

Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls, commonly known as seven wells waterfalls, referring to a series of seven natural pools connected to each other in Mount Mat Cincang are one of the best tourist places in Langkawi. Datai Bay

A private beach located at the northwestern end of Langkawi, Datai Bay is a curvy, half-moon shaped, the white sand beach stretching at an end to end length of 1.5 kilometres. The locals fondly refer to it as Pantai Teuk Datai. The beach is commonly shared by a few high-end hotels who also own cafes, bars at the beach, and where tourists can visit, only if they are the guests of the respective resorts.

The beach offers views of surrounding mountains that carry dense jungles, making the landscape a perfect one. It takes about 45 minutes for tourists to reach this beach from Pantai Cenang but is certainly worth the effort!

The mangrove safari, also known as Kilim Karst Geoforest Park is nestled at the northeastern tip of Langkawi and is full of sandy beaches, mangrove swamps, lush green trees. Air Hangat Village

Air Hangat village is a beautiful blend of modernity and culture of Langkawi. It is complex with hot water spring wells that stand to be one of the many other interesting Langkawi tourist attractions. These hot water spring wells are not like any other wells. They are natural saltwater spring wells that are rare and unique not just in Langkawi but across the globe and are found only in three other countries.

Kilim Karst Geoforest Park

Temurun Waterfall

Being the tallest falls at about 200 meters - Temurun waterfall is one of the popular Langkawi attractions; especially amongst groups of families and friends who like to take a day off and come here for a picnic, play games at natural grounds, bathe in the clear water and rest in the lap of nature. The rocks here are made of limestones and shale and are believed to be over 500 million years old. The waterfalls are 5 minutes walk away from the car parking area, another factor that makes the place a popular pick, courtesy of its accessibility.

Ayer Hangat Friday Night Market

One of the many other popular tourist places in Langkawi, this street - night market is perfect for some fun-shopping time with closed ones. The friendly locals sell a number of items such as clothes, souvenirs, various delicacies at very affordable prices.

It is held once every week on Fridays and has many tourists visit it from all across the world. The colourful stalls make for a vibrant atmosphere and lanes here are a great idea for a stroll, if not for shopping.

Pantai Tengah Beach

Pantai Tengah falls on the same stretch as Pantai Cenang and is in fact, a continuation of the same beach. Langkawi has daily night markets in different localities of the region and one of them is Kedawang Night Market which takes place every Tuesday night. Pulau Beras Basah

Situated Southwest, about 25 kilometers from Kush town, Pulau Beras Beach is a vast sandy beach with clear waters - ideal for swimming. Thus, it is recommended to carry a change of clothes on your visit here.

Black Sand Beach
