- Dehydration can set in quickly after a day spent in the sun and water. You should stay hydrated by drinking lots of water and avoiding caffeinated and sugar-free drinks.
- At the water park, it's crucial that you keep track of your children at all times. Don't put your trust in the lifeguard, regardless of whether or not they are actually on duty. If you have children, you should either keep a close eye on them at all times or join them in the water.
- Avoid becoming overly exhausted, chilly, far from shelter, or sunburned.
- Every park has its own set of regulations, so it's important to familiarise yourself with the rules before letting your kids loose.
- Walking or running on wet surfaces like decks or sidewalks is extremely risky. Thus, for the sake of everyone's safety, please refrain from running amok in the park.
- The water depth varies throughout most water parks. Toddlers and younger kids should play in the shallower areas.
