    1. Gunung Raya: For many hikers, Gunung Raya is a dream come true, as it’s one of the easiest of Langkawi hiking trails. The mountain range covers more than 12000 acres and is home to a variety of attractive animals and birds. Furthermore, at 881 meters above sea level, it is Langkawi's tallest mountain and provides the most tranquil setting. If you're a newbie hiker, Gunung Raya is an excellent place to start. Early in the morning or late at night, you may hike up the mountain at any time of the day. The hike lasts around 4-hours, and you have the option of walking upward along the road or taking a 400-step stairs from the base to the peak.

    2. Gunung Mat Cincang Jungle: Gunung Mat Cincang Jungle is a nature lover's dream since it is with tall trees, orchids, and plants, as well as a lovely forest creek where you may cool down home to a variety of rare bird and tree species. The hike also passes through a deep rainforest with a refreshing swim. Despite the fact that the trek is only three hours long, the entire experience will undoubtedly last a lifetime. 3. Skytrail: The Skytrail, which runs between the Langkawi Cable Car's base station and top station, is Langkawi's most varied hiking location. This 2.2-kilometer uphill climb will take you from the base station to the summit station while also enabling you to see the lush rainforest. You'll also get the opportunity to observe the natural beauty of a 550-million-year-old forest, which is home to a variety of fascinating creatures, uncommon birds, and lovely flowers. Even though it's the shortest of Langkawi hiking trails, the Skytrail doesn't disappoint when it comes to breathtaking vistas at every turn.

Location: Gunung Mat Cincang on Pulau Langkawi

    4. Lubuk Semilang Waterfall: The Lubuk Semilang Falls are some of the lesser known falls in Langkawi. Stowed away in the heart of the rainforest, the waterfall remains fairly uncrowded, and offers an excellent trekking spot as well. The trek to the waterfall starts at the Raya Mountains, with the trail extending up to 5 kilometers. The road here is fairly moderate, and can be hiked by beginners as well. To bring the journey to a fitting end, the cascade offers a shallow pool fit for swimming, which remains cool and pleasant throughout the year.

    5. Mount Mat Cincang Peak: Mount Mat Cincang Peak is the most difficult route for hiking in Langkawi; it is not for inexperienced hikers. Although this path is not visible to the general public, experienced hikers know where to discover it and how to submit it. The trip to the Seven Waterfalls begins at the base and includes around 640 steps. Then, while passing through a rainforest, you hike uphill on a hard route to the mountain's peak (701 meters above sea level). From the summit, you'll have a 360-degree panorama of Langkawi Island. Depending on your physical level, the hike might last anywhere from 4-5 hours. The trek up Mat Cincang Peak will put your upper and lower body strength to the test.

    6. Wat Koh Wanararm & Orchid Farm Trail: The trek to Wat Koh Wanaram is one of the most popular year round destinations for hiking in Langkawi. Although the trek takes less than 2 hours to complete, the trail is regarded as a fairly challenging one, with the route taking frequent slippery curves. The views that the trail offers, however, are quite worth it. The road travels through the Orchid Farms in Langkawi, which appear absolutely magical in Spring, and comes to an end at the small but significant temple of Wat Koh Wanaram.
