Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten

Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten is a prominent stupa built in 2004 by the queen of Bhutan, Ashi Tshering Yangdon Wangchuck. The aim of constructing this stupa was to keep the evil spirits away from Bhutan and spread peace worldwide.

It is situated on a hill for which you will have to take a short hike through the lush green fields and rice terraces. There are two main statues inside the stupa, a 15-foot-tall statue of God Vajrakilaya and a golden statue of Sakyamuni Buddha.

Additionally, you will get to see several beautiful paintings and holy scriptures inside the stupa.

Dochula Pass is a scenic spot located more than ten thousand feet above sea level, while going from Punakha to Thimphu. It is one of the most renowned destinations for tourists in Bhutan. Jakar

Located near the foothill of the Chokhor Valley, Jakar is the principal trading centre of the region.

Highlights: Jakar is a town that lies in the heart of  Bhutan. It is the district capital of the pivotal Bumthang district as well as the location of the Jakar Dzong which is the regional fortress of the dzong. Roughly, Jakar translates to ‘white bird’ which is in reference to the foundation myths. According to a prevalent myth here, a roosting white bird signalled the auspicious and proper location to locate a monastery here in 1549.

Punakha

Dagala Thousand Lakes Trek was a great experience. It passes by picturesque lakes, Alpine meadows and villages set to a backdrop of magnificent mountainous landscapes. The experience was amazing and brilliant. We had a really great trek. It was sheer brilliance.

Dagala Thousand Lakes Trek is something that every trekker must take in his life. It is so poignant and brilliant. I totally loved this. WOW can be an understatement. The crystal clear, poignant lakes just give me goosebumps. The pristine lakes are so beautiful that you will forget yourself here. The trek is difficult, but nevertheless it is an amazing and a beautiful experience to say the least. I totally loved this trek and I just still can’t get enough of this trek. The experience would not have been this nice if the planning was bad. Special cheers to the team for handling the organization and planning of this tour in such a beautiful manner. If you are planning to have heartfelt trek, then look no further than here.
