Apply for Your Schengen Visa

Indian passport holders need a Schengen visa for a tourist stay in Switzerland of up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

VFS Global lists the visa fee at INR 9,400 for adults and INR 4,700 for children aged 6 to under 12. Children below six are exempt from the visa fee. The VFS service charge is currently INR 3,100 following the fee revision introduced in April 2026.

You will generally need your passport, application form, photographs, travel itinerary, accommodation details, financial documents, employment or business documents and travel insurance.Travel insurance must provide at least EUR 30,000 coverage for medical emergencies, hospitalisation and repatriation during the Schengen stay.
