Jallianwala Bagh

A historic garden and a memorial, Jallianwala Bagh is one of the highly visited tourist places in Amritsar.  It was built in the memory of those people who died on 13th April 1919 in the bagh.

The 7-acre garden complex is located near the Golden Temple and is visited by many tourists from all corners of the globe. Among the various structures, well is very popular and important. It is said that during the shooting, many people jumped inside the well to save their lives.

Entry Fee: There is no entry fee to the Jallianwala Bagh.

Timings: Monday to Sunday 6.30 AM to 7.30  PM

Best time to visit: To enjoy your visit to Jallianwala  Bagh, it is advisable to visit the place in Winter Season as the climate is cold and pleasant and you can wander around the locality at ease.
