About Wagah Border

Wagah Border or Wagah-Attari border is the last Indian area before the Pakistan mainland. It hosts a ceremony where the soldiers of India’s Border Security Force and Pakistan’s Pakistan Rangers march and parade making it among the top tourist attractions in Amritsar. The area is filled with people on both sides celebrating the patriotic vibe.

Location: Attari-Wagah, Wagah Border, Amritsar, Punjab.

Entry Fee: There are no entry charges to this place.

Timings: The border gate remains open from 10 AM to 4 PM and the 45-minutes ceremony starts in the afternoon and lasts till sunset.

Best time to visit: Winter Season is the best time to visit Wagah Border as the climate is best to enjoy a splendid show at Wagah Border.

Booked: Visit to Wagah Border

We started a tour bit early by 08.00 a.m and informed the driver a day before only. We really want to spend some time at Golden Temple as we had taken a vow long before and we want to be thankful to God about that. It was such a beautiful experience there and we loved it.
