How to Reach?

  • By Car: The Palace of Versailles is 800 metres from the city centre. It will take 3 min via the Av. de Paris route to reach the attraction.
  • By Walk: The Palace of Versailles is 850 metres from the city centre and can be reached on foot within 13 minutes.

Know Before You Go for Palace of Versailles Tickets

  • Visitors must go through security checks in Palace of Versailles. At peak times, there can be long lines for security checks.
  • To avoid visitors overlapping, the entrances and exits are separate and marked at the Palace of Versailles and on the Trianon Estate.
  • Audio commentary is available in Chinese / English / Spanish / Russian / Portuguese / Japanese / German / Korean / French / Italian / Polish.
  • All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of arrival.
  • ID proof is mandatory for each guest at the time of arrival.
  • Visit the Musical Fountains Show on Saturdays and Sundays from March 30 to October 27, 2024, and every Tuesday from May 7 to June 25, 2024. Special openings include Friday, March 29, Easter Monday, April 1, Wednesday, May 8, Thursday, May 9, Monday, May 20, and Thursday, August 15.
  • The Musical Garden is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from April 2 to May 3, 2024 (except May 1). It's also open every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from May 10 to June 28, 2024, and from July 2 to October 31, 2024, except August 15 due to the Musical Fountains Show.
  • There are usually 2 lines at the Palace of Versailles - one for buying the tickets and the other for security check. This ticket only allows you to skip the ticketing line but not the security check line.
  • Please note that the time slots may be subject to slight variations, and we will allocate a time slot available within a 30-minute window before or after your initial selection.
