Bhimtal is a small, beautiful, and peaceful town located 23 KM away from Nainital. At the height of 1370 meters above the sea level, this prominent tourist attraction of Uttarakhand is perched as a famous pilgrimage spot for its beautiful temples and lakes: Bhimtal Lake is the largest of all, with an island in the middle of it.

Places To Be Visited:

Tea garden - Lying on the vicinity to Golu Devta temple, the Shyamkhet Tea Garden produces a wide range of tea leaves including organic tea which are also exported to the world.

Ghorakhal Temple - This is just a few km from Bhowali, Bhimtal, and ShyamKhet. This is said to be the temple of Golu Devta who is the God of Justice or Wish.

Sattal Lake - Sattal is a cluster of mysteriously interconnected seven freshwater lakes located in the Nainital district of the Kumaon region. 

Bhimtal Lake - The biggest lake in the Nainital district and the only one with an island in the middle. Also have many activities like water zorbing, kayaking, etc.

Bhimeshwar Mahadev Temple - Situated on the embankment of Bhimtal Lake, Bhimeshwar Mahadev Temple is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and named after the powerful Mahabharata character Bhim

Walk on Victoria Dam - Victoria Dam is a 40 ft high dam located at the end of Bhimtal Lake. There are terraced flower gardens on both sides of the dam.

Nakuchiatal - Naukuchiatal or “lake of nine corners” is a small hill station in Nainital. The lake is 175 feet deep and is situated at 1,220 m above sea level.
