Built-in 1987 the stay is located near the village of Kaladhungi in the state of Uttarakhand. well-finished and tastefully furnished cottages with double beds and attached bathrooms which provide all modern amenities. The design provides good ventilation and the roofs are topped with thatch grass which gives good insulation in all weather conditions. Each cottage is equipped with its own solar panel for water heating. In the centre of the stay, the large thatched roundhouse is the focus for evenings spent around the bonfire. An elevated dining room offers a view of the stay and the surrounding jungle. For those in search of relaxation, there is a well-equipped nature library and quiet jungle sit-outs nearby.

A Guided walk to the interior of the Kumaon region and around the local villages is a great way to truly experience life in these parts. Further, the guide will take the wanderers in nearby forest and stream flowing near. Take a sip of chai with local villagers and closely understand the locals and their tradition. The guide will help taste some local dishes if one wishes so. 

The stay is located in a reserve forest 45 mins of drive from Corbett National Park, birdwatching walks around the stay and in the surrounding forest. Highlights include Griffon Vulture, Lammergeier, Golden Eagle, Chir Pheasant, Laughing-Thrushes, Rufous-Backed Sibia, Forktails and numerous other species. Further one can take an Early morning drive/walk with picnic breakfast in the mountains to find the elusive Ghoral, Serow and Chir Pheasant. Moreover one can drive through the forest to Ramgarh and the picturesque old village of Mukteswar, where Corbett hunted a man-eating tiger in 1910. The views of the Himalayan snow peaks from the Mukteswar Ridge are magnificent. The stay gives it all what a wanderers look for. 

How to Reach: The stay is located just 30 km from Corbett National Park and Jolly Grant Airport is 230 km from the stay, further the nearest railway station is Ramnagar Railway Station which is 30 km from stay.
