While chess, carom and UNO are available within the villa, one needs to inform beforehand for the arrangement of activities like rock climbing, rappelling and day treks. During the stay take a casual stroll down the road or else you may also opt for cycling. Outdoor enthusiasts can also indulge in a trek to Bhalu Dam. The Bhalu Dam is an artificial lake (reservoir)adorned in the preserved forest area located about 3 km from Chaubatia and 11km from Ranikhet. In order to quench the thirst of soldiers, this dam was constructed in 1903 by the then viceroy. One has to partake in a 3-km strenuous trek from Chaubatia Orchards  Out of the 3km trek, 2km of it is pretty steep which is easier for tourists when descending to the Bhalu dam and quite exhausting when ascending back to Chaubatia.
