Situated in the hills just above Nainital, the homestay is nestled in Oak forest from all three sides facing a valley in the Kumaon region of the Himalayas. The homestay is special because of it’s resemblance to an old-school hill cottage. There are three bedrooms with 2 washrooms, out of which one is a painting studio, the second one is a private bedroom and the third one is an open bedroom. The stay is airy, well-lit on 3 levels as the cottage faces east and comes with an open living room with TV, indoor fireplace, one open kitchen with bar cum dining, balconies and a proper kitchen with open garden terrace making a perfect stay for a group of friends or family. In the kitchen, guests can cook meals and enjoy the view.
The stay does not have wifi but plenty of board games like carrom, Pictionary, scrabble, chess, darts, monopoly, etc and many DVDs and books for leisure watching and reading to make up for it. Surrounded by oak forest, the stay provides a perfect opportunity for a forest walk where guests can explore beautiful trails on the hills and breathtaking views to die for. About 5km away from the property, you can head to the well-known Shiv Mandir which is the highest point in Mukteshwar. Go on a hike to the Mandir and enjoy chai and pakoras with a killer sunset view at Sunset point.
