Overview

About Bhimtal:
Bhimtal is a beautiful town, located 22 km away from Nainital and consist of Bhimtal lake at its edge. With a pleasant weather, having chilly winters and cool summers, the town has enormous amount of history to explore and lush greenery covered all over its area.

About the Mansion:
The mansion is located in pretty little hill town of Bhimtal, Kumaon and offers lovely misty weather almost all through the year.  The property belongs to a German colonel and his wife who were famous for their hospitality to the diplomats who stayed here. Now their son and future family is running this retreat business in the laps  of Himalayas with utmost care and love to the guests.

About the Stay:
The property consists of 3 bedrooms with attached bathrooms, out of which 2 can accommodate more around 3-4 adults and 1 have its own sitting space inside the room. A maximum of 10 persons can stay here at a time.
Check in time: 12 PM
Check out time: 10 AM

About the Activity:
- The activities include Nature walks in tea plantations, photography of wildlife and birds, bird watching by the passionate lookers, swimming in Panna tal which is 30 minutes away, trekking to nearby hills etc. The nature walk and trek will not be guided but locals will surely recommend you the right way.
- Along with same, one can also enjoy a village tour by their own and after coming back, you will be greeted with bonfire and some snacks.
- If you wish to catch fishes in the nearby Bhimtal lake, you can definitely ask for that by paying a little extra but taking back a lot of memories.


How to reach?
The road from Delhi to Bhimtal is excellent with the driving time being 6–8 hours, depending upon traffic and the weather. You need to take NH 24 up to Rampur, where you turn left on to NH 87 which takes you past Kathgodam till the turn-off for Bhimtal. The exact location will be delivered to you, right after the bookings.

    Great experience, well priced. The service and hospitality of Thrillophilia was commendable. Thanks to our camp guide Jagan, who was very attentive to all our needs and very patient. He also tildes amazing stories at night, stories about the local temples and mountains and some myths and folklores of the region. The mansion is breathtaking, a true colonial masterpiece. There’s also a lot of history to the mansion. The view from there is very pretty, with tall mountains everywhere. It was lush and green all around us, with chilly nights. It was the best weekend for my family and me - 11 of us. Thank you.
