Know Before You Go for Dev Diwali Boat Ride

  • Dev Diwali attracts massive crowds. Seats sell out quickly, so book well in advance to secure your spot.
  • Arrive on time. Latecomers will be marked as no-shows and no refunds will be issued.
  • Please note that timings may vary based on local authority directives or situational factors.
  • The experience uses a shared motorboat with a capacity of 35–40 people, operated by a licensed and experienced boat operator.
  • Life jackets are provided and must be worn throughout the journey.
  • Seating on the boat is first-come, first-served. Specific seat reservations are not possible.
  • Evenings on the river can be chilly. Carry a light jacket or shawl for comfort.
  • Do not lean over the edge while performing Deep Daan.
  • Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package.
  • Due to heavy traffic and crowd control, seating order, route, and boat placement may change in real time for safety reasons.
  • Space is limited and only small backpacks are allowed. Large bags must be left onshore.
  • Public toilet access is limited at ghats and unavailable on boats. Use facilities before boarding.
  • The participant shall bear the responsibility and expense including any fees charged for all property carried on their person including video cameras and cameras.
  • Smoking, consumption of alcoholic beverages or any illegal drugs are strictly prohibited during the activity.
  • Keep the surroundings clean by using designated bins and avoiding littering. Do not litter the boat or throw trash in the river.
  • Decorative elements such as lights or flowers are not guaranteed on shared boats.
  • Images are for representation purposes only. The actual experience may differ.
  • ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
  • Company reserves the right to alter the itinerary, timings, boarding points, or inclusions due to weather, local regulations, safety, or operational needs.
  • The boat ride lasts approximately 3-3.5 hours (5:00 PM to 8 PM), with boarding beginning at 3:00 PM.
  • The boarding location will be Raj Ghat, in case of any changes it will be confirmed 1 day before the activity via communication from the team.
  • Major ghats visible during the ride include Dashashwamedh, Assi, Manikarnika, Chet Singh and Panchganga (all seen from the river).
