Basilica of the Sagrada Familia

Barcelona’s undisputed symbol, Basilica de la Sagrada Familia is one of the celebrated places to visit in Barcelona. You must visit this indisputable icon as it is architect Antoni Gaudí's jaw-dropping masterpiece besides being the most visited monument of the city.

The basilica is still undergoing construction but the outstanding features inside the expiatory church will stir you beyond measure. The sky-scraping towers of the church are visible from several points of the city. If you are an architecture aficionado, this unique modern temple, dating back to 1882, has to be on your list. The striking facades and towers of the church represent Jesus’s life phases: Passion, nativity and glory.

The altar’s apse is worth mentioning because it is within one of the seven crypts whose interior is adorned with Jesus's image and heads of the angels. The impressive columns are the outstanding features of the basilica as they are built with mediums of different hardness. You will be absolutely dazzled by the stairs of the basilica that go up on both sides, symbolizing the way between heaven and earth.

In just 11-days we get to taste and covered the famous places...Overall all arrangements were splendid...Perfect trip thanks for not disappointing us.
Superb
Excellent job did by Thrillophilia, We did an 11-days trip and the entire trip there is no glitches at all, the itinerary was very detailed with interesting tourist's destinations most importantly that we were able to cover all of it on-time without missing any!! the driver was on-time, the team was always there to help, the hotel was first-class with tasty breakfast...we enjoyed the trip to the fullest...First international trip and it will be the one to be remembered forever.
Unbelievable trip planned by Thrillophilia for us, Seeing the dream place by our own eyes and experienced every major place was such a great feeling... The activities we had there was truly an amazing one like sightseeing, boating, beaches activities, scuba diving, clubbing in a luxury ocean boat, and a lot more... We even enjoyed alot in our personal itineraries like shopping, market, and food tours... The hotel was at a perfect location and so comfortable too. The pickup and dropped were on time, we had a hassle-free trip throughout... Never forget the time we had in Barcelona and Madrid.
