The primary street of the Old City of Dubrovnik, Stradun runs from the Old Town’s port to the Pile Gate and divides the town into two parts - South and North. Totally pedestrianised and closed for traffic for over 50 years, this flamboyant street serves as a local promenade, at the present day.

The street is lined by colourful shops, dazzling restaurants, and charming cafes. Most of the streets of the Old City of Dubrovnik originate from Stradun. Taking a leisurely stroll through Stradun and watching the crowd pass by, will let you get an insight into the culture and lifestyle of the city.
