Established in 1966 by Swami Rama, Sadhana Mandir is a peaceful retreat located on the banks of the Ganges River in Rishikesh. Created as a sanctuary for sincere spiritual seekers, the ashram offers a serene environment, ideal for meditation and inner growth. Surrounded by flowering gardens, mango trees, and a lotus pond, it provides a quiet atmosphere perfect for deep sadhana.

The ashram offers 3-4 days, 5-7 days, and 8–16 days retreats. It also features the signature Art of Joyful Living program, based on Swami Rama’s teachings. These programs include guided meditation, Yoga Nidra, digestive breathing, and uplifting bhajans and kirtans. Each retreat provides a balanced blend of spiritual practice and inner healing.

Sadhana Mandir offers both shared and single room accommodations, providing a quiet and comfortable environment for all participants. The rooms are clean, simple, and equipped with basic necessities to support a focused and peaceful stay. Sattvic vegetarian meals are served daily, prepared in accordance with yogic principles to promote health and inner balance.
