The waterfall is formed by two separate streams that meet at the base to create a Y-shape. One stream is from Puna Oya, and the other is from Pundalu Oya.

The waterfall is surrounded by stunning landscapes, including hills, forests, and tea plantations. Shri Bhakta Hanuman Kovil
