1. If you are a novice rock climber, feel free to hire a climbing instructor. They assist you in securing ropes making a decent climb.

2. Railay Beach is not a low-cost beach, but rather a high-cost beach. Make sure you have a valid credit card to swipe or cash for that matter. 

3. On the sidewalks connecting east Railay, west Railay, and Phra Nang beach, keep an eye out for monkeys. It is highly recommended that you do not feed the monkeys.

4. Along with the imposed fines, it’s quite harmful to feed the monkeys and make them rely on humans. 

5. Be wary of the ravagers as some might try to exploit you of your money. 

6. The best time to visit the Railay lagoon is during the high tide. Low tide lagoons can be muddy with little to no swimming conditions.

By Boat: Railay Beach, in the Krabi region, is a hidden gem. Although it is still part of the mainland, it is only accessible by boat as it is encircled by rugged cliffs and limestone formations. Ferry boats can be found in Ao Nang, Krabi, Koh Lanta, Ko Phi Phi, and Phuket, but Ao Nang and Krabi are the most popular locations to fetch a ferry ride. It takes approximately 10-20 minutes on the boat, which costs 100 baht per voyage.
