There are primarily two types of courtyard which one will see during the exploration of this palace home. The first is the Roman courtyard that is spreaded in 75 m sq. surface area and holds a capacity to accommodate 100 guests at once. Another one is the Renaissance courtyard, a kind of masterpiece inside Casa Salinas, representing the 16th-century Mudéjar architecture. The courtyard is surrounded by white marble columns, which form several semicircular arches. The use of plasterwork on these arches from the 16th century makes it one of Spain's most elegant structures.
Once entering the palace, on the second floor, there is a mesmerizing 2nd-century mosaic dedicated to the Roman city, Bacchus. Staircases are another attraction inside the palace, situated in a patio corner that tourists can marvel at. These stairs are embellished with Mudejar coffered ceiling and tiles making it one of the major attractions why tourists travel to this iconic destination.
