Lipa Asrang Sanctuary, Kinnaur

A small village situated in Kinnaur, Sarhan is perched at an altitude of 2165 meters. Popular as “ Gateway To Kinnaur”, it is known for its dense pine forests, terraced farms, slate-roofed houses, and gushing streams. In the center of the village, one can find a beautiful 2-towered temple of Bhimkali and Devi Kali. Apart from this, you will also get to see the Jujurana bird species in a pheasantry situated in close proximity to the Devi Kali temple. Sarhan also acts as a base village for several trekking expeditions and is regarded as the summertime capital of Bushehr rulers.
