Jang E Azadi Memorial

Dedicated to the brave hearts of Punjab who lost their lives for India, Jang-e-Azadi memorial is built near the Jalandhar-Amritsar highway in the town of Kartarpur. Spread over an area of 25 acres, this mega project had risen to become one of the top places to visit in Jalandhar.

The dome-shaped architecture and the white pale ceilings are astonishing. Do not miss the 15-minute 3D movie in the AV hall of the Memorial where you can see the movie on India’s struggle for freedom.

Location: Jang-e-Azadi Memorial, Kartarpur, Jalandhar- Amritsar Highway, Jalandhar.

Entry Fees: Entry fees in the memorial for Adults - Rs. 50 and Kids - Rs 30.

Timings: Monday to Saturday - 10 AM to 6 PM
              Sunday - 7 AM to 7 PM

Best time to visit: The best time to visit the memorial is between June to September as the climate is cold, cosy and pleasant to travel.
