We booked train related and Floating Market. Give them hotel room number via email. Wait at hotel lobby. Remember it is slight difficult to catch the driver as they don't have any brand or name. Picked us at 6.30am at hotel. Train in the market is far away. They picked guests from other hotels and we reached train area by 8am. One hour watching the train and shopping. Then 9.30, they taken us to Floating Market area. 30 minutes journey. Around 10am reached there. 1.5hr they gave time for shopping via foot or buy ticket (extra) and do shopping by sitting in boat. Remember to bargain goods. Tshirt they say 400 but give you for 180. We finished shopping reassembled at 11.20 . Then they asked us to get into larger boat (this is free) and taken us to show a village. This ride is nearly 20 to 30min. After that 12pm + get into bus. Returned to hotel. We told them to Drop at my hotel at the time of booking for which we paid extra. Whether sunny better if you have cap. Plenty food options.
Overall is good. Perhaps next time can provide a better transport such as mini bus. The condition of the shuttled van is hot and squeeze.
I’d recommend this tour to everyone looking for specialty cultural experiences in Bangkok. For the price it was offered at, the tour was extremely comprehensive and took us across most of the city’s best markets. The floating markets were a spectacle in themselves, and we spent a better part of our day just shopping and eating.
The enjoyable exploration of Bangkok's Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is the pace to go if you want to get a unique taste of Thai heritage and culture.
I could not finish my Bangkok trip without a visit to the floating market here, which is one of the reasons why Bangkok is so famous. Thanks to Thrillophilia, I could manage to get a day trip of the market. The Thai culture is so evident here, and you can also try so many local dishes, shop for local ingredients and so much more. I would also recommend the mango sticky rice here.
