About the Tour:

Satiate the wanderer in you as you visit the "Land of the Dawn-lit Mountains" - Arunachal Pradesh, the most remote state in India and the first Indian territory to welcome the rising sun.

Explore the gems of Arunachal which are still known for their immense natural beauty - Tawang and Ziro Valley. Along with exploring the Indo-China border at the BumLa pass, get an insight into the cultural side of Ziro Valley which is home to the last Apatani Tribal people.  Ziro valley is home to the Apatani Tribe which is famous for its tribal tattoos and unique nose piercings, thus making them a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the experiential tour, one will come across a beautiful landscape and lifelong experiences.

Day 1
Guwahati - Bhalukpong | Welcome to the “Gateway Northeast India”

  • Meet our representative on arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station where you will be greeted well.
  • Transfer to Bhalukpong, the border of the states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Day 2
Bhalukpong to Dirang | Explore the hubs of tribes and diverse culture

  • After breakfast transfer to Dirang.
  • On the way, visit Tipi On the banks of the river Bharali at an elevation of 190 meters having an orchidarium with over 500 orchids.
  • On your next drive, take a break to visit Nag Temple.

  • On the way, enjoy the view of Sela Pass and Sela lake, A little drive of about 10 km will land you at Jaswant Garh War Memorial.
  • Later visit Nuranang Falls.

Day 4
Tawang Local Sightseeing with Bum La (optional) | Visit biggest Buddhist Monastery in India

  • When on a visit to Bumla Pass, make a point to see the route from where Dalai Lama entered India to take refuge.
  • Later on, pay a visit to the most popular lake of Tawang- Shonga-tser lake aka Madhuri Lake, Taktsang Gompa.

  • Upon arrival in Ziro, surround yourself with the ethereal natural as well as cultural landscapes of Arunachal.
  • Take a walk through the highlands surrounded by the Apatani tribal villages like Diibo, Bulla, Hari, etc.
