Winters, a perfect time to get amazed by the beauty of this little hill station- Dalhousie. It is located close to the Dhauladhar range and is nestled amidst snow-clad mountains. A high altitude town with colonial touch will bring you closer to the aura of the Dalhousie. The vast green patches and lined up by lush green coniferous brings a soothing smile on face and calmness in mind.
The tour will take you in and around Dalhousie it includes the friendly and knowledgable guide to have perfect trekking experience to the very famous Ganji Pahari and Dain Kund. The package includes meals and stays for your ease. Get ready to experience amazing views of the places this winter.

How to reach?
Dalhousie is very well connected by major cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, and can be easily reached by Railways and private transport. The Exact Location of Hotels will be shared post-booking.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Day 1 - Arrival in Dalhousie (6900 feet)

    Upon reaching Dalhousie, Check-in to the respective Homestays!

    This day, you would roam around on your own. Explore the markets- Subhash Chowk and Gandhi Chowk.

    Visit the St. Francis Church at Subhash Chowk.

    Walk till Gandhi chowk which is around 2 Km. Embrace each & every moment of the walk as it is full of ecstatic natural beauty.

    Later, around Subhash Chowk, you will get the flavor of taste -buds teasing food.

    If you don't want to regret anything about your stay, then don't miss the tea of 'yellow scooter.'

    Return to the cottage/Homestay for an overnight stay and dinner.

  • Day 2 - Trek from Dalhousie to Ganji Pahadhi and Camping

    Today, after breakfast, you will head towards Panchpula, one of the most popular places in the town.

    Later, you will start with a scenic route i.e. from Panchpula to Ganji Pahadi.

    Ganji Pahadi is situated in Bakrota hills and is a spectacular hike of around 5 kilometers.

    Enjoy the bucolic life of villagers by spending your time in mud houses for a bit and have an authentic Himachal- flavored infused lunch on the quintessential challah. Have your packed lunch in any of these halts.

    Later roam around the areas around Ganji Pahadhi.

    Enjoy the sky full of stars at night at the mudhouse in Ganji Pahadhi.

    A perfect setup to experience the Himachali winters.

    Overnight in Dome Camps along with Dinner.

  • Day 3 - Trek from Ganji Pahadhi- Dainkund. Stay in the cottage in Dalhousie

    After experiencing the beautiful morning, get ready, and have breakfast.

    After some time, you will start your trek down for Dainkund.

    A car will pick you up and then you will drive towards Dainkund Peak.

    There is a temple located here which allegedly keeps away spirits from the peak.

    To reach the Dainkund peak, you need to trek a bit. However, the trek is not that difficult.

    A stroll in the woods will help you reach the peak. It is heavenly during the winters and one can indulge themselves in adventurous activities.

    Gradually, we will start our drive towards Dalhousie.

    Enjoy the wintry evenings of Dalhousie.

    Soak in the calmness and enjoy freshly cooked dinner.

    Stay in the cottage for the night.

  • Day 4 - Departure

    Have breakfast and shared trip experiences among your group members.

    Bid Adeu with great fun stories and unforgettable memories.
