  • This is one of the best adventurous trips through the Silk Route in Sikkim for 7 days covering the beautiful locations around Kanchenjunga and the Himalayan ranges.
  • Get a transfer from New Jalpaiguri to Sillery Gaon from where you will start your cycling trip through the serene valleys and scenic mountain roads.
  • Rishikhola, Zuluk, Nathang Valley etc are the major points to visit during your tour.
  • Pickup and drop point is NJP Railway Station is at around 10 A.M and approximately at 02:00 P.M respectively.
  • The package is inclusive of food, accommodation and transportation during the trip.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Arrive at Maney Bhanjyang from New Jalpaiguri station that will take around 04 hours.

    Get transferred to Sillery Gaon on the Indo-Nepal Border. Check-in into a homestay.

    Enjoy the views on Mt. Kanchenjungha and Himalayan Range from there.

  • Day 2 -

    Start your cycling journey to Rishikhola for 23 kilometers via Pedong.

    The Silk Route is a nice picnic and camping ground for tourists to have fun and chill out on the banks of the river Reshi.

  • Day 3 -

    Visit Lampokhari Lake or Aritar Lake while you cycle today.

    After that, the ride runs downhill through the Dalapchand valley and reach a small town, Rongli located on the banks of the Rangpo river.

    Then the road starts climbing uphill through the picturesque village hamlets of Sisney and Lingtam.

    Stay overnight there.

    You will cycle for 22 kilometers today.

  • Day 4 -

    Head out to Zuluk covering 50 kilometers in total after crossing some waterfalls and river streams.

    On reaching Phadamchen, you will visit an old Buddhist monastery.

    Climb 24 kms through the mixed temperate and alpine forest and ride up to reach Zuluk.

    Stay overnight at Zuluk.

  • Day 5 -

    From Zuluk to Dhupidara it is a steady uphill ride of 17 kms.

    Take some rest and then start off riding to Nathang valley.

    The ride is comparatively easier on this stretch.

    The ride is through the army area and it is necessary to abide by their rules.

    Nathang valley is a high altitude plateau at an altitude of 13,500 feet above sea level and is flanked by mountains.

    On reaching Nathang, check-in into a homestay for your stay.

  • Day 6 -

    Early morning, go for sunrise trip to Eagle’s Nest Bunker.

    Return to Nathang for breakfast.

    Leave Nathang after breakfast for Gangtok.

    Enjoy the sights at Old Baba Mandir, Kupup Lake, New Baba Mandir on your way back.

  • Day 7 -

    In the morning, depart from Gangtok and drive back to New Jaipalguri.

  • Transportation from pick up point to Base Camp and vice-versa will be provided at a particular time. So you have to report this place before that time. If you failed to reach within this time then you have to make your own arrangement to reach and return from our Base Camp, or we can arrange a transport depends on availability by paying an additional charge.

  • Carry their own backpacks. All common gear will be carried by the support team. If for some reason a trekker is unable to carry his or her backpack, he/she can offload the same by paying an additional charge.

  • If for any reason a participant has to drop out from the trek on any day then we will make arrangements for his/her return to the nearest road head. A staff will accompany the participant to the nearest road head.

  • The tour operators will not be responsible for any loss/damage of your gears/equipment or other belongings on the trek. And if you damage or lose any of our equipment then you have to pay the full market price of that equipment.

  • Drinking and smoking during the trek is strictly prohibited. If found flouting the rules, your participation on the trek will be cancelled with immediate effect.

  • In case of any medical emergency, Medical expenses, if required, at the medical centre are to be borne by the participant.

  • The tour operators have the right to postpone cancel the Trek/ Cycling/ Camp/ Expedition with or without any reason. They also have the right to terminate the participation of any member at any stage.

  • In case of any delay due to bad road condition or other unforeseen reasons. The tour operators will not be responsible.
