With the discovery tour Roots of Wadi Rum & Dead Sea, you have a 7-day tour package taking you through Amman, Jordan and 9 other destinations in Jordan. This package of Wadi Rum & Dead Sea is a small group tour that includes accommodation in a hotel as well as an expert guide, meals, transport and more.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Sunday: Country of destination – Arrive Amman Qaia

    Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport- Meet and assist with visa formalities.

    Exit to the hall – Transfer to Amman. Overnight

  • Day 2 - Monday: Amman - Ajloun – Jerash - Amman

    Breakfast – depart to Ajloun

    Continue driving to the one of Decapolis Cities, Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the Middle East, which is only 50 km north of Amman.

    End of the day tour, return back to Amman.

    Overnight stay

  • Day 3 - Tuesday: Amman City Tour – Madaba – Mount Nebo – Um El Rassas – Petra

    Breakfast – running the panoramic view of Amman, capital of Jordan, passing by the main streets and avenues.

    Continue to drive to Madaba, well known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics.

    Continue to drive to Petra.

    Overnight stay.

  • Day 4 - Wednesday: Petra– Little Petra - Wadi Rum

    Full day visit to the Red Rose City, the capital of the Nabataeans. During the visit, discover the most important and representative monuments carved into the rock by the Nabataeans.

    Continue driving to Little Petra, visit these caravanserais.

    Then proceed to Wadi Rum, an hour and a half drive, to reach the camp where you can enjoy the sky and the star at night.

    Overnight stay

  • Day 5 - Thursday: Wadi Rum – Amman

    Breakfast - Start the visit of this dramatic desert landscape with its beautiful rock formations. Visitors can enjoy a two hour Jeep tour coached by Bedouins (6 pax per vehicle) visiting the beautiful landscape built by the action of the erosion on the mountain’s rocky and the fine red tonalities – colored-sands.

    Continue driving to Amman to visit the Martian, back to the hotel.

    Overnight stay

  • Day 6 - Friday: Amman – Desert Castles – Dead Sea

    Breakfast and depart to visit some of the most important Jordan's desert castles, beautiful examples of both early Islamic art and architecture, stand testament to a fascinating era in the country's rich history.

    Continue to the Dead Sea.

    Overnight stay

  • Day 7 - Saturday: Dead Sea – Airport

    Returning back from the Dead Sea to the Airport
