Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival at Guwahati

    On arrival at Guwahati Airport (GAU) a representative will arrange a group transfer to the hotel.

    Complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relax for a while.

    There will be a group meeting in the evening where your tour leader will give a full briefing about the ride, road conditions and the weather followed by an introduction of all the group members from different areas.

    Overnight stay at a hotel in Guwahati.

  • Day 2 - Guwahati - Nameri (220 Km)

    After an early breakfast, depart from the capital city.

    You would be riding to Nameri wildlife reservoir.

    Enjoy the greenery on the way as you will cruise through a very smooth highway.

    Bhalukpong road stretch is an amazing stretch to ride, covered by trees on both sides and the Brahmaputra river flowing elegantly on one side.

    Overnight stay at the camps in Nameri.

  • Day 3 - Nameri - Dirang (170 Km)

    After spending the night at the reservoir, you would be riding to Dirang.

    Before embarking on the journey enjoy a delicious breakfast.

    Say hello to curvy roads and beautiful mountains in this 170 km ride.

    After a blissful ride on this day, enjoy the evening sipping a cup of tea at Dirang.

    Try the local brewed rice & millet beer called ARA.

    Overnight stay at hotel/homestay.

  • Day 4 - Dirang – Tawang (140Km)

    You would be riding towards Tawang today after breakfast which is 140 km from Dirang.

    Make a halt at Sela Pass, which is located at 13,700ft above sea level.

    Enjoy the beautiful landscapes, snow-filled mountains, and foggy roads along the way.

    Pay homage at Jaswantgarh War Memorial.

    Check-in to your hotel after reaching Tawang.

    Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 5 - Tawang local sightseeing

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a day full of adventure.

    Tawang is full of beautiful monasteries that you can visit.

    Visit the Tawang monastery which is the largest monastery in India and the second largest in the world and also visit the Urgelling Monastery which is the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama.

    Later, head towards Chakzam village for a short adventure ride where you would find a hanging bridge that was hand-made 560 years ago with iron wires.

    You can also watch the sound show in the evening at the War Memorial of Twang.

    Return to the hotel for the overnight stay.

  • Day 6 - Tawang – Bumla – Tsungeshwar Lake - Tawang (130 Km)

    On this day, you will head to the edge of India.

    Kick start an exciting day with a wholesome breakfast.

    You will then be riding to a heavenly Tsungeshwar Lake which is also known as Madhuri lake (The lake was renamed so after the shooting of the Bollywood movie Koyla, starring Madhuri Dixit).

    After admiring the beauty of the lake while sipping tea at the Army Café, you will continue to Indo-China Border to the Bumla pass.

    Later, return to Tawang after an exciting day.

    Overnight stay at Tawang.

  • Day 7 - Tawang – Bomdila (180 Km)

    Have a delicious breakfast in the morning.

    Leave the beautiful Tawang behind as you ride downhill towards Bomdila.

    You would be visiting Jung Waterfall which is 100 meters high.

    Visit the Apple and Kiwi Gardens and Kameng River on the way back to Bomdila.

    Overnight stay at hotel/homestay in Bomdila.

  • Day 8 - Bomdila - Kaziranga (200 Km)

    This is a long ride day so make sure that you have a filling breakfast in the morning.

    You would be riding back on the same route from where you started.

    Start the ride early in the morning to reach Kaziranga by afternoon.

    The main attraction of Kaziranga is the National park in Golaghat and Nagaon districts of the state of Assam and the rich flora that surrounds it.

    You can enjoy the safari ride in Kaziranga National Park.

    Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

  • Day 9 - Kaziranga - Guwahati (200 Km)

    Wake up to the final wake-up alarm calls on the last day of the ride.

    Enjoy scrumptious morning breakfast.

    You will be riding on a familiar road and reach Guwahati after riding 200 km. which will pass through a plain highway.

    Check in to your hotel rooms after reaching Guwahati.

    Get freshen up and gather for the tour completion ceremony where all of you can share your experiences.

  • Day 10 - Departure from Guwahati

    After enjoying a scrumptious breakfast, check-out from the hotel.

  • Guwahati Airport pick-up and drop will be done in group (In a coach or tempo traveler). Individual pick up or drop requests cannot be fulfilled.

  • Consult a physician before undertaking the tour. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the tour.

  • It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the tour. The advisable baggage weight is 60 litres as you might have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle, the accommodation, etc. Additional bags would have to be charged INR 1000/- per kg.

  • Do not park your bike anywhere on the way. Any damage occurred due to negligence will be borne by the rider.

  • Any fuel for the bikes, any charges for spares parts and damage caused to the bikes, etc. will be charged at extra.

  • Any charges for video cameras, still cameras, etc. will be an additional cost.

  • During a bike trip, in case the roads are blocked due to landslides or a reason that is beyond control, Thrillophilia will rearrange the itinerary for the travellers real-time, however, the cost of alternative accommodation will be borne by the customer as the hotels pre-booked execute their cancellation policies and are nonrefundable.

  • In case a rider leaves the bike in the middle of the trip, charges for re-transporting the bike to the destination will be borne by the rider.

  • While riding on a bike, it is advised to carry luggage in rucksacks/backpacks instead of trolleys or suitcases as they generally get damaged due to driving on tough terrains.

  • There will be a refundable security deposit per bike depending on the variant selected. Please ensure you pay that in advance and carry the receipt with you at all times to get a refund later.
