Set out on a memorable journey with your Italy vacation package, which takes you from Venice's beautiful canals to the Renaissance homeland of Florence, Rome, and the colorful little country of Vatican City.

- After arriving at Venice on day 1, go for a lovely strolling sightseeing tour of all the must-see sights in Venice on your Northern Italy vacation package. View the Rialto Bridge, stroll around the peaceful alleys, and marvel at the Pala D'Oro altar.

- The third day of the Italy trip is a free day, you can do whatever you please or join our optional tour. Then take a train to Florence.

- Take a full walking tour of Florence's attractions for Day 4.

- Day 5th is yet again a free day on which you can join our optional Tuscany Wine Tail tour.

- Day 6th will transfer you to Rome where you will go off on a journey to see the Eternal City's famed old treasures. You'll visit the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the renowned Fountain of the Four Rivers, as well as Bernini, Borromini, and other masterworks.

- On your seventh day, go on a walking tour of the Eternal City's famed historic monuments.

- Day 8 marks the last day of your trip where you will discover the Vatican City and will depart from this beautiful country.

Northern Italy Vacation Package Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Venice
  • On day 1 of your Northern Italy vacation package, you will be transported to the hotel for check-in via private water taxi upon arrival.
  • The remainder of the day is free for you to unwind after your journey.
Day 2
Sightseeing in Venice
  • Meet your guide in the lobby after breakfast for a lovely sightseeing tour of all the must-see sights in Venice.
  • View the Rialto Bridge, stroll around the peaceful alleys, and marvel at the Pala D'Oro altar. Then you'll head up to the Loggia dei Cavalli for the greatest views of St. Mark's Square.
  • The Doges Palace tour, which includes a crossing of the Bridge of Sighs, will be next on the itinerary.
  • Return to your hotel after the tour and spend the remainder of the day at your leisure, or take a gondola ride if you like.
Day 3
Free Day in Venice & Train to Florence
  • Today is yours to explore and enjoy Venice at your leisure. We recommend going to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection or joining our well-organized optional day excursion to Murano and Burano islands.
  • An assistant meets you at your accommodation in the afternoon for a private water taxi transfer to your next destination, Florence.
  • The remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy.
  • Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4
Florence Sightseeing
  • Meet your guide for a full walking tour of Florence's attractions after breakfast in your hotel.
  • Today's itinerary includes a visit to the Baptistery dedicated to St. John the Baptist and an explorer of the Piazza del Duomo.
  • You travel past Piazza della Repubblica and the Strozzi Palace on your way to the city's principal plaza, Piazza della Signoria. Down the Arno River and via Tornabuoni. You may also see Michelangelo's famed enormous David statue in the Galleria dell'Accademia.
  • Return to your hotel after the tour and relax for the rest of the evening.
Day 5
Free Day in Florence
  • Today is your free day to explore Florence on your own or join one of our carefully prepared optional trip to the Tuscany Wine Trail where you will learn about Tuscany, Italy's famed wine-producing area.
  • Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6
Rome
  • You check out and transfer to Rome after breakfast at your Florence hotel.
  • Meet your own guide and go off on a journey to see the Eternal City's famed old treasures.
  • You'll visit the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the renowned Fountain of the Four Rivers, as well as Bernini, Borromini, and other masterworks.
  • Your guide will take you back to the accommodation after the trip, and you will have the remainder of the evening to yourself.
Day 7
Discovering Ancient Rome
  • On your seventh day of the Northern Italy vacation package, go on a walking tour of the Eternal City's famed historic monuments. The famous Roman Forum is your first visit today.
  • The Temple of Caesar and the Arch of Septimius Severus, as well as the neighboring Palatine Hill, which was the location of the city's initial colonies, are visited today.
  • Today, see the Colosseum, Rome's most famous attraction.
  • Your guide will make you return to the hotel after the trip, and you will have the rest of the evening to yourself.
Day 8
Vatican Sightseeing and Departure
  • Day 8 marks the last day of your Northern Italy vacation package trip. 
  • After breakfast, meet your guide and go to a fortified enclave, which houses the world's tiniest autonomous state, the Vatican.
  • Julius II's private rooms, Pinecone Courtyard, Map Gallery, Tapestry Gallery, and Candelabra Gallery are among the sights you'll see. Head to the Sistine Chapel, where you will have enough opportunity to marvel at Michelangelo's renowned frescoes. St. Peter's Square is where your tour will conclude.
  • Your driver will meet you in the hotel lobby after some time and bring you to the airport.
  • With a backpack full of memories, bid farewell to the lovely region of Northern Italy.
