About the Activity:
Fixed departure: Everyday

  • Indulge in a different tour to witness an active volcano, Mount Bromo near East Java in Indonesia. This tour is for 3 days and 2 nights.
  • Mount Bromo is located amidst a plain called Sand Sea which is a protected nature reserve.
  • Start the trip from Kuta in Bali, travel to Paltuding where you will be wandering through some picturesque plantations and rainforests.
  • On this trip you will be covering some beautiful sightseeing spots such as Ijen crater lake, Cemara Lawang village, Mt. Penanjakan and Semeru Tengger National Park.
  • The package includes accommodation and transportation during the trip.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Kuta Bali – Sempol

    Depart Kuta, Bali at 10:00 AM to Sempol village where you will stay overnight.

    You will reach the village around 6:00 PM.

    Get dropped off at your hotel.

  • Day 2 -

    Sempol Village – Pal Tuding – Ijen Crater Lake – Sempol – Cemara Lawang Village

    Wake up early at 04:00 AM to travel to Paltuding which is the entry gate to Ijen crater lake.

    The path goes steeply uphill through the forest till the crater rim.

    After some time reach 200 meter above the lake.

    Walk along the top or go down to enjoy the view at the lake's edge.

    By 9:00 AM start your journey from Paltuding to Cemara Lawang village.

    You will reach the village around 8:00 PM.

    Retire for the night after getting dropped off at your hotel.

  • Day 3 -

    Mt. Penanjakan – Mt. Bromo – Cemara Lawang Village – Kuta

    Start the day at around 04:00 AM.

    You will be heading to Mt. Penanjakan by a 4 WD, enjoy the mesmerising sunrise from the top.

    Relish the view of Semeru Tengger National Park also from there.

    Head back to pass through the Sand sea which will be followed by a climb towards the edge of Mt. Bromo from where you can see the smoking sulphurous crater.

    Later, go back to Cemara Lawang. By 09:00 you will depart to Kuta.

    The experience ends here.
