Mount Titlis Tour From Lucerne

In the north of Löwenplatz is the remarkable Lion Monument in Lucerne, which was designed by Thorwaldsen in 1820. The figure of the dying Lion was carved in a sandstone rock ledge to commemorate the Swiss soldiers who lost their lives during the French Revolution, protecting the royal family. About 26 officers and over 700 Swiss soldiers lost their lives at Tuileries Palace.

Hofkirche (Court Church of St. Leodegar) is the main cathedral in Lucerne, built from 1634-39 in place of the 8th-century Benedictine monastery of St. Leodegar. The twin towers of the Church were preserved from 1525 of the old Church, among others are a few religious objects, St. Mary's altar that outlasted.

The Swiss Museum of Transport, located on Lake Lucerne, is one of the most famous museums in Switzerland. It was built in the year 1959 to exhibit several space and land travels, and it has ships, motor vehicles, aircraft, and trains at the display. Furthermore, the museum also houses the famous EURECA satellite, launched by Europe and the USA in the 1990s.
