The Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir are one of the most visited places in Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim The lake is also known as the Changu Lake and it’s made of glacier water. You can rent a bike from Gangtok and experience the breathtaking journey to reach the Tsomgo Lake, located at 12310 feet. The Journey gives you panoramic views of majestic Himalyan mountains covered with snow and cool breeze running against the face as one travels forward. The lake is 35 km from the city and an early start will make your visit even more spectacular. On this fantastic day tour from Gangtok, you’ll get to see some of Sikkim’s best cultural and natural attractions The lake is surrounded by mountains and during the winter season, the surrounding areas stay covered in snow. The beauty of the entire scene is breathtaking.

Baba Temple is a majestic temple and honors Baba Harbhajan Singh. He was a soldier and folk hero and is now a saint. At around 56 km from Gangtok, this temple is surrounded by stupendous natural beauty. The distance between Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir is about 16.3 km, a journey of 30 minutes by car. One can travel to the famous Nathula Pass situated at Indo China Border. Pass is 52 km from Gangtok, located at 14,400 ft, Nathu-La links India with Tibet. Special permits are required to reach Nathu- La Pass which depends on whether and Border conditions and are provided on the same day of the travel. The permits are allotted by the Government and are fair to all.

  • Any damage to the bike will be the liability of the rider and not that of the management.

  • Customer needs to return the bike from the same office at Gangtok from where he has taken it.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 7 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of the rental cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made within 3-6 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the rental cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made within 0-2 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the rental cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases, operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However, a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.

  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

    A great decision my friend and I take to start the beginning of the adventure. The bike was a good option and we can easily ride on the roads of Sikkim without any problem at all as the rental company arranged everything for us. Awesome lakes and Baba Harbhajan Sings temples have a beautiful shrine and the place was well-maintained by our soldiers really incredible India. Easy pickup and dropped off. Smooth documentation process. We felt relaxed at this place.

    Brilliant experience in Sikkim, Riding in a dream bike, and explore the places by own was just super great. Both the lake and the temple were super nice and peaceful. Easy pick-up and dropped-off the bikes, amazing service from the staff, and really a must-visit place in Sikkim and I can assure you that these places won't let you regret.
