Amar Mahal Palace

This palace, built in the 1890s by King Raja Amar of Dogra, was designed by a specific French architect and resembled a French chateau with the help of Indian artisans. For many decades, this was the residence of the royal household.

Red sandstone was used to build the palace and converted into a museum with a vast collection of artifacts.
