Referring to the muse of astronomy in Greek mythology, the Urania observatory is a 50m high round tower where visitors can observe heavenly bodies through a telescope that allows magnifications of up to 600 times! Be it viewing the cloud-rings around Jupiter, the church tower of the Fraumünster, or even the craters on the moon, with the 12-tonne Zeiss telescope, the sky (and beyond) is the limit when at the Urania Sternwarte.
